so who else is going to Irvine for sure?

More than likely once I get rejected from Berkeley.

More than likely once I get rejected from NYU.

after i get rejected from berkeley
i will go to irvine

Lol you guys are as positive as me… man the competition for Berkeley this year was intense…

I am like 99.9% sure
gonna send in the SIR when Berkeley sends me the rejection XDDD

by the way did u guys receive anything after u find out the admission decision online??? I haven’t gotten the paper mail yet or any email congratulating me!!

yea same, all i got was an email saying that my application status was changed and nothing after that

If my SOP goes well on the 5th, I will be sending in my SIR right after.

Also, I got accepted like 2 or 3 weeks ago and still have not recieved anything in the mail.

I was waitlisted at Davis, but I’m pretty sure I’m not going to get in…I’ll most likely be attending the April 8th preview day just to get a feel of the school.

There’s a good chance I’ll go. I got rejected from Davis though and that was my number one so thats frustrating. Right now its between Irvine and Cal Poly.

does sending in the sir earlier mean you get to choose classes earlier if you are not a chp student

^ no i think u choose the class during the orientations in the summer

I’m going to Irvine, does anyone know when we have to take the placement exams(e.g. calculus, physics)?

I feel like I’m in the minority because UCI was my first choice. I’ll be attending in Fall 2010.

probably me…

i’m deciding between irvine and santa cruz right now

You’re not in the minority Jessy… At least you’re not the only one
UCI was my first choice too!

I am! Im sending in my SIR today! :)

Xsteel-If you live in norcal, look for the date you can take the math placement test at Cal so you don’t have to travel to socal. However, they do not offer all the placement tests off UCI campus. Do well on your AP tests to avoid all the placement nonsense.

Goldenevence, glad to hear! See you in the fall then :)
