surprised you got rejected from Davis but into UCI. UCI has a higher reject rate than Davis. I’d highly consider appealing their decision. Remember you’ll need NEW information which might affect their decision so figure something out.</p>
<p>I am on UC Davis waitlist, according to their email, this year enrollment up 6%, acceptance rate less than 10%, they will wait for regent approve the budget cut to decide the waitlist acceptance. Every UC school is tough now.</p>

<p>I went to Cal for undergrad and grad school. It’s better for grad. Irvine is great for undergrad. Be happy.</p>

<p>Just so you know…upperclassmen join so they can answer any questions that incoming freshmen have. They were really helpful when I joined the group last summer. And most of your fellow peers will start joining by the end of year after they have finalized their college decisions. It’ll take time for the group to go. I remember when I joined the 2013 group…there were only few members at first but then as the summer progressed and people visited the campus or attended SPOP(highlight of the summer), the group grew faster.</p>

When should I recieve my Email?</p>
<p>I havent even turned in my SIR yet, I am just joining because I know I am going, but I feel more comfortable turning it in after I do my SOP visit soon.</p>
<p>It won’t let me join without joining the UCI network though and for that you need a UCI Email,</p>
<p>You can request to join and they’ll let you in! At least that’s what happened with me :)</p>
<p>Wow, this past week made it dramatically harder to determine where I am heading off to next fall. At first when I received the UCI acceptance in Feb, and then SLO a couple days later, I was entirely set on Irvine. This week I was accepted to UCD and UCSB for electrical engineering as well, and now I am in a huge dilemma. Hopefully, the stay over program at Irvine convinces me =]</p>
<p>I bought plane tickets to orange county on the 7th thinking I was going to Discovery Day on the 8th, but I just went to RSVP and it says the event is already booked to capacity 
What am I supposed to do now?</p>
