<p>I am attending Session 2 this summer and would like to get to know others that are attending the Program. I made a Facebook group that can be found under "Stanford Cardiothoracic Surgical Skills Summer Internship 2014." I'm a junior from South Florida and I'm so excited to meet all of you. </p>

<p>@grx567 I’ve been wondering about that too. @Meimay I start school about a week and a half after the program ends. </p>
<p>I also did CSSSI last year. @grx567 for my session, most of them were HS students. I think there were ~5 pre med students. </p>
<p>^^thanks for the information. I just think that the focus seems rather narrow for HS students but maybe you saw it as an introduction to medicine? </p>
<p>@grx567 yup, though most of the faculty lectures and wet labs were focused just on the heart, I found it really fun and helpful for my future career in medicine We also had brief anatomy lecture everyday that covered broader topics. </p>
