Attending?

To people who have been accepted: will you attend? Why or why not? (Even if you're only thinking about it/undecided, what are your pros and cons?)

Fun with Stats! :D/

For 2012-2013

------- Percent Admitted: Yield
FSU: 54% : 36%
UCF: 46%: 40%
USF: 43%: 31%
UNF: 52%: 30%
UWF: 61%: 22%

University of Georgia: 63%: 50%
Georgia Tech: 51%: 37%

Thank you! I have seen similar stats, but wondered what made them decide to attend or to not attend. I’m having a tough time.

I’m undecided. I’m waiting out on several other universities, one of which is my dream school. But, if I get in, I might not be able to attend since it is private and expensive. One of the benefits, for me, if I went to UF would be that the tuition and housing would be taken care of, since I have Florida prepaid. I would also be instate, which would be nice since I would be able to have my family visit, but not too often either, since it is a 5 hour drive. One of the cons would be that it has so many students, meaning that the classes would be huge. A benefit would be that it is a prestigious public university.

Attending because…
-Number 14 public University
-in state (costs less than out of state)
-Close to home, but not too close  (4hrs away for me)
-It’s a collegetown
-Excluding the massive student population, it’s really a small and beautiful city
-Number 4 dental program in the US
-the beautiful brick look and old feel of the school
-Tons of outdoors stuff to do outside the campus and only a short drive away.
-I fell in love with the campus after staying there for a semester.
-huge emphasis on stem programs

That about sums up most of my reasons :D

Oh and it was pretty much my only realistic dream universitmy and my father went there so I have legacy, and I think it’s pretty cool to be a gator like him :)
