Attention all Angelenos!!

Question from a Chicago boy....

My friend and I are planning a trip out to Los Angeles this summer to look at colleges (USC,UCLA,Pepperdine,UCSB) and are trying to find a place to stay. We are both 17 so its difficult for us to find somewhere to accomodate us at this age, do you guys know of any hostels, hotels, anything!! that will allow for us to stay there for about 5 nights? thanks!!

Visit UCLA first and then fly home. Really, you don't need to look at the rest. ;)

I had no idea we were called "angelenos"

anyway, if you're going to be visiting all those places, find a good hotel that's central to all/most of them.

I like hotels.com, myself.

Sleep in the car? That way you can save a couple hundred dollars.

The most common term used by the media is "southlanders". Also, "Southern Californians" or just plain "L.A. residents"

If you call it Cali, a native Californian will probably punch you in the nose and someone might try to take your life if you pop your collar. LA bums don't like that...

But anywho, you could go to fraternities and tell them your father is an alumni and a brother of them and they might let you stay in the house for a day or two. You could also go onto craigslist and find people renting out apartments for the summer, offer them 50 bucks for a night and there is a good chance they would bite, cuz they would rather have 50 bucks in their pocket than another night with one bedroom open and unfilled.

people are that gullible huh

we calis don't want ur kind

oh pipe it ya nasty.

They're flying.

You guys don't need to visit Pepperdine, LOL.

Central location for that is probably somewhere in....Alta Dena or Thousand Oaks. UCSB isn't as close to LA as you might think, more like 150miles North. I agree with Kevin, Pepperdine really isn't a school you should be visiting, unless you really enjoyed that Nickelodeon series with Ashley Simpson >_>;; USC and UCLA are 10miles from one another, but you might want to hit SB first since, again, it's the farthest away. Get a hotel far from the big city so it'll be cheaper and you shouldn't find it too hard.

i heard this from someone else, too. there's a LOT of people who say cali, lol. i say socal, but yeah. nothing's wrong with cali, idk why people are saying 'omgomg youre gonna get your ass kicked if you say that.' uh, no.

i'd kick your ass if you said that

more like kick you in the balls.

and, don't stay at a frat! they're NASTY.

ask your friends who go here, maybe you can sleep in the lounge for free.

If I had a dollar for every time I said Cali....

I would be broke with empty pockets.
