attention all GMAIL users

one helpful way i've been learning vocabulary is through gmail's web clips. click settings at the upper right, then web clips, and enter these into the search box and you can add a convenient vocab booster that takes only seconds to check everyday

http://dictionary.reference.com/wordoftheday/wotd.rss
http://infoplease.com/rss/word.rss
http://www.merriam-webster.com/word/atom.xml
http://www.onelook.com/wotd_rss.php
http://rss.groups.yahoo.com/group/wwftd/rss

Looks nice, but on some of them you still have to click on the word and go to the site that provides the .rss. A short quick definition would be much better.

some of those are extremely helpful. infoplease will give you a quiz and the bottom 3 give you examples of the words in sentences. i'm pretty sure that will prepare you more to use the word than a short quick definition would.
