Hi all,

I am currently a sophomore at UCSD and I've just taken my first upper division class for my major this quarter (Fall '11). The class is POLI 142M U.S. Foreign Policy/Regional Security with Professor Randy Willoughby. My question is: do all poli-sci classes swamp you in readings? This class sure did.

To clarify, the reason I am asking is because next quarter I am taking two (tentatively three) UD poli-sci classes, one UD history class, and one LD sociology class. From my understanding, these are all heavy reading-based classes! I've already finished all my GE's though, so there is no opportunity for me to space it out with less heavy (especially LD) classes.

To all of the upperclassmen poli-sci majors out there: what is your experience with taking on several of your upper-div major courses all in one quarter? How do you handle all of the readings so that you accomplish them on time? Or is what I'm doing simply unprecedented and suicidal??

Thanks (:!
