Attention All Triple Dorm People..

<p>how bad is it? is it that crowded? still room for tv and all the other stuff a double occupancy has?</p>

<p>Here's a suggestion someone made about a De Neve triple in the LJ community:</p>

<p>i lived in a de neve triple last year and let me tell you, you will not have space. unless... youre a bit clever with arranging the furniture and getting rid of some of the furniture. now i know they say youre not "supposed" to get rid of the furniture and that its meant to be there forever, but thats bull, you can get rid of it.
there will be two dresser drawers (whatever you call them) that fit nicely in the closet, that will clear up space significantly. then, get rid of the wooden wardrobe that is usually meant for the person with the loft bed, so that means 3 people gotta share the closet space, which is big enough to accomodate 3 people. put one of the desk under the loft so the long side is against the wall, and if you want somewhere to put your tv, then get one of the chest of drawers and stick that next to the desk. this arrangement looks very nice, youll have the most floor space and will be the envy of everyone else.

<p>how hard is to to try to get a double after being offered a triple? are floors prganized by triples and doubles or are they mixed?</p>

<p>My friend lives in a triple in dykstra right now. I stayed with him a few weeks ago and it didn't seem too bad.</p>

<p>There's enough space to have a 4th person sleep on the floor if you aren't that messy. </p>

<p>I am in a residence hall triple. We have a pretty big TV with gamecube and a fridge about the same size as the TV. you can fit a lot if you use your space wisely. </p>

<p>i never feel that crowded in my triple. my word i always use to describe it is "adequate"</p>
