I actually enjoyed it. On an unrelated note, have you ever read "Dogeaters" or, "A Handmaid's Tale"?

Dogeaters-no
A Handmaid's Tale- Yes. pg. 116 is a masterpiece.

I like the idea behind these dystopian novels, just not the syntax and diction of Huxley. Atwood is genius and the Biblical references are profound.

^ I tend to agree, and would rank Atwood above Huxley. Definitely try Dogeaters by Hagedorn. It is a true masterpiece!

you guys are dorks

I really don't watch that much t.v, let alone Oprah. It's just not my cup of tea.

Oprah is to reporting as Jay Leno is to comedy. (Hint: Leno is not funny)

you can probably get into Rice, Northwestern, Rutgers, and Michigan

Can we not forget the episode of Tyra all about sex? Or the bathing suit episode? Quality television at it's best...

If you're applying to all of the schools on your list, you're definitely going to get into a great number of them. If you're just listing them here and plan on narrowing down the list later, make sure not to make your list too top-heavy, but you're competitive at all of these schools. I mean, once you've got the scores and the GPA and the ECs, it all comes down to how you present yourself and, more importantly, luck.

I am SO jealous of your SAT IIs. I phail all of mine.

Indians ftw.

Your resume seems great. I do not want to be the bearer of bad news, but there are several thousands of people who have the same or an even better resume then you when applying to HYSP, but I am fairly certain of your admissions into several of the colleges you have listed. Just try to write a great essay, which has brought amazing results to several people at my school who did not even have a resume that could touch yours unless God came down and pulled a miracle.
