I have an interview with duke in 4 hours and I'm trying to decide what to wear. Up until now I have only had formal interviews so I have a business suit. But this interview is going to be at a Peet's Coffee so I'm unsure what to wear. I was thinking about wearing khaki capris with boots & a dark blue polo shirt. Is this OK? Because I really don't want to wear jeans or a business suit.

By the way, the interviewer mentioned on the phone that the interview was casual.

haha thank you. I forgot to mention that I’m a girl. I guess I’ll stick to the khakis then. But I think I should also mention that my outfit kind of makes me look like I’m a horsebackrider (what are they called? equestrians?) so I’m not sure if I might look kind of weird.

Skirt/Slacks + Button up shirt/blouse (whatever girls call them now-a-days) + nice shoes with a low heel if you prefer + conservative makeup imho.
Generally a conservative look. What I put here is by no means a hard and fast rule.
