<p>I did a tour last spring but I didn’t even know about the transfer day… I would have 100% been there if I had known about it.</p>

<p>We absolutely promise that transfer decisions will be posted no later than April 17. We try to post them a few days early each year, but it really depends on whether we’re able to finish our work of reading applications early. We don’t like to rush decisions, as they are so very important! But know that we are doing our very best to notify you as soon as possible. Thanks!</p>

<p>We do accept late applications for transfer admission until 3/16. These are considered on a space-available basis. There aren’t any supplemental materials required, but you are more than welcome to send in letters of recommendation if you like. Hope that answers your questions.</p>

<p>Sophomore Transfer; top 40 liberal arts school in the nation but just way too small and the partying just way too intense. Looking for something else to do besides get trashed on the weekends and yet still have fun. Really nervous about acceptance and cannot wait to hear back!!!</p>

<p>did anyone send out recommendation letters? i know they aren’t required, but i sent one anyway. also, what essay prompt did you guys choose? i went a bit over the limit… im not sure how much essays count though.</p>
<p>i spoke of an obstacle i had to overcome in high school and how it affected me and then expanded on how it was a good representation of me as a person. and then a second essay on diversity.</p>

<p>-Current GPA at UNC Charlotte = 3.93 (43 credit hours completed, currently taking 12 hours)
-High school GPA = around 3.6ish (attended a private “college prep” school but this is still a pretty low GPA for unc)
-SAT scores = 630 math, 700 reading</p>
<p>I had an internship with an online magazine from May-August. I was then promoted to a writer position from August-January. As of January I was promoted to an editor position. I also worked for a couple months on the staff for the UNCC newspaper.</p>
<p>I applied last year to transfer in as a sophomore and was not accepted, so I am hoping I will be this year! I had 2 recc letters sent, one from a professor and one from my magazine publisher. I feel like my application essay was pretty weak though.</p>
