Ohhhhhhh shoot

OMG..!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got the letter! This has to be like a mistake!! ~~~~~~~~

Ok, so lots of people have gotten the letter, how many people applied on the board?

Maybe they are sending it to everyone this year, because I really wasn't expecting one. I got a 600 on my SATII.

So, I am trying to figure out what it means for me. (For most of you its probably what it has been in the past) Maybe the want to see another test for me...bah...im so confused, I don't even know whether to be delighted, nervous or something else

I feel like it could either a) be for everyone or b)be for two kinds of people: those on the bubble (to be a deciding factor) and those almost definitely admitted (to be used for placement).

letter means you're likely in? congrats

Well, guys, when you think about this year's round to last year's...the numbers match (if we all get in). Last year, on the CC for ED to Huntman, like most of the kids (5-7) go in...and that was through RD! So, let's just chill, and good luck y'all, and!! Be proud that we've made it this far.

lolol wow, really? that must be some sort of boost... "be on CC.. + 10 pts"

lol! I know... the Penn adcoms browse this board..."let's match some of these weird kids with our apps! O! Here's catch! take the number of her posts and divided by 10!...this girl wasn't gonna even get the letter, now, she is.." Gosh I am unworthy.

I just noticed that my post about last year's ppl to huntsman did not make much sense...so, let me restate something. Last year, there were like 5 ppl, or 6 that got the test on CC and got in (RD). Dunno much about ED. But, Ginger signed the letters herself, I can't imagine her signing 200+ of these (or how many ED Huntsman kids there're) and sending them out to everyone.

did she really? but also, u kno how some penn letters look like REAL signatures? apparently (everywhere) they just get interns/secretaries to copy their signature but sign everything as if it were 'real'
that was disappointing, and a seemingly big waste of time

No. She really did. I am sure of it. It isn't those Lee Stetson signatures. She really signed it...maybe she got ppl to sign it for her...but, it's ink on paper.

lol that's cool, you should frame it! =D
my friend and i, starting from frosh yr, have had this informal "i'm gonna get more rejection letters than you" thing
i'm gonna frame mine!

lol! My dad didn't even look at the letter..the first thing he said was, "OOo! Good paper quality.."...it's 25% cotton...as you can see, I am still very much amused.

hahaha
i'm explicitly told my mom NOT to open ANY college things cuz i don't want her.. being the first to read anything

I am still ultra paranoid that they will..at the end...reject me...but, meh! Suck it up and take the test next week ! WooHoo!

do we have any definitive idea what it means to recieve this? does anyone know people who were rejected despite recieving this test?

more people who post on CC probably get in because they're overachievers...i mean slackers seldom post on a college forum!

i remember, back in the day, when i first found out about CC...i think i did a yahoo search for college stuff or standardized tests and found it. memories!

i was in 10th grade and my junior friend told me about this place where you could find the answer to any AP test question.

a little bird told me...

has anyone in Cali received the test yet?

There were only 80 some ED applicants last year, they admitted 25, 30% some acceptance rate
