any diehard laker fans going to UCLA next year?

lets start a club haha

ive been waiting for a lakers thread.

im down to to be in any lakers club.

warriors for life yo

did you guys hear kobe getting mvp chants in china?!? that was kinda tight.

^

was that on tv? and where was he getting chants?

Paul Pierce just called out Kobe

dude paul pierce isnt even the best on his team.

and golden state just lost the best player for maggette and turiaf? :$

good team tho. im sorry that they dint make the playoffs last year. it was just cuz of the l337ness of every team in the west. GS wouldve been like 4th seed in the east tho rofl

yea the turkey vs usa game was on espn twice today.

Clippers should take the 7/8th seed this year.
Warriors will fall short of playoffs again, and struggle to stay over .500

I would want them to rebuild around Monta Ellis, Biedrins, and Brandon Wright ... dump Harrington ... the show needs to go once they lost Dizzle.

Portland is still a year or two away from being contenders.
Sixers should be a top 4 seed in the East now.
Indiana is probably 5 years away too from playoffs.

oh dang. i start volunteering tomorrow and my first volunteering game is going to be china vs usa. so f**king stoked.

What do you do when you volunteer? Are you a waterboy? haha

thats awesome to get to watch all those elite players play.

as far as teams:

sixers will step it up. i always like dalembert and iguodala. with EB too they should be tough.
clippers will lose it. sorry no EB and maggette -- theyre dun. b-diddy cant fill in those shoes alone.
both indiana and portland are far away yes.

im very interested to see wat goes on with the mavs and the suns -- big coaching changes there. plus dallas is ready to dump josh howard? NO should be interesting too, now that they ahve some experience.

i pray my lakers will patch up their toughness problems.

wow i wish i was the waterboy. hahaha.

my task is audience assistance and i'll find out all the nasty details tomorrow at registration.

and about the clippers - baron won't be the only one holding up the clippers. camby and kaman are gonna kill it as centers, and al thornton is going to step it up in his 2nd year.

true that they didn't get the best end of the deal, but they're not completely gone.

oh and just to throw it in there: go wizards :)

goooooooo warriors

clippers would have been a great team last year if everyone was healthy...its too bad though...

i think lakers will win it this year!@

^

nope. lakers had their chance.

Clippers were still far from contenders even if EB was healthy. Brevin Knight and Dickau running the point? (assuming you're not talking about Livingston miraculously being back ...)

This year, I think that they will make the playoffs as the 8 seed, or barely miss it. Maggette gone is good ... he has a bad shot choice .... Baron Davis already has that problem too ... if you like a slasher, you have Eric Gordon developing into that.

I think that the Clippers have good depth potential.

PG - Davis, Hart, Taylor
SG - Mobley, Gordon,
SF - Thornton, Davis, Williams
PF - Camby, Thomas, Fazekas
C - Kaman, Jordan, Skinner

im ****ed about artest going to houston instead of LAL. that team is becoming a bit of a threat.

in the words of tony kornheiser from PTI: "houston got artest for bobby jackson and a box of noodles". lmao.

Gooo Twolves! :)

I really like the trade if it goes down because it helps both teams. Yes, Houston will be more dangerous and deeper from the trade (and the draft).

It's just up to keeping their big 3 healthy, as everyone knows, their health are liabilties.

I'm more interested in SacTown's future. I like Donte Greene and I think he can develop into a Rashard Lewis or better than Hakim Warrick mold (big 3, or play 4). The Kings should build around Kevin Martin and Spencer Hawes ... they'll be in the lottery in 09, where they might be able to pick up Brandon Jennings and possibly a combo guard like Tyreke Evans (from Rocket's 1st rounder). Everyone says Jason Thompson is a nobody .. yes he was drafted high but he has good upside ... the Kings will make noise in a few years.
