<p>I have a quick question to all legacy RD applicants: did any of your parents receive a letter in the past few days from the alumni board saying they were excited their children (i.e. you) are continuing their legacy? My mother and father both received one and I'm not sure if this is a good sign or something that they sent to all alumni. Hopefully it's indicative of an acceptance!</p>
<p>^^ My dad received something like this for Duke when I applied ED but I was deferred, so it may just be a generalized letter sent to all alumni whose kids apply. Hopefully it means something better for you! Good luck with the upcoming decision</p>
