<p>I am applying as a transfer from a community college and I was just wondering what my chances are to get in the social work program with a 2.6?</p>

<p>If I have a bad chance then I was thinking about staying another year to get my gpa up. But I don't know if it would be worth it.</p>

<p>Your best source of info will be your community college’s Transfer counselor. Hopefully, he/she will have familiarity with what SF State’s requirements are and will be in the best position to advise your course of action. Best of luck to you</p>
