like if u live in a dorm, do you even have time to get ready for classes in the morning?

I know girls who got up an hour earlier in the morning to shower and put on makeup. One of my friends had 8am class and was up at 6:30 so she could get ready. If you put on makeup for high school (which starts at 7AM) you should def have time to put on makeup in college when your classes start at 10AM or later.

It takes me 5 minutes to put on makeup in the morning… it doesn’t really interfere with waking up and getting to class on time.

Waking up and going to high school classes really isn’t that different than waking up and going to college classes. It’s probably even easier since you already live on campus. Maybe a bit harder if you had too much to drink the night before.

At the college I went to, it looked like many of the girls spent an hour slathering makeup on their faces and curling their hair. 0_0

But many didn’t do anything at all.

I spent about 3 minutes putting eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara on. If I was late, I skipped it.

You’ll get more prim and prepped girls at schools with a reputation for having southern belles, but you’ll find those girls (and heck, guys…) everywhere. I, on the other hand, spend that extra five minutes sleeping. I prefer life a la natural.

Honestly, if you have to wake up at 6:30 to paint your face for an 8 am class…time to scrape off some of those cakey layers No but most girls I’ve seen around campus are wearing a little bit, even if it’s just under-eye concealer. Guys are clueless about this stuff, my male friends/boyfriend never think I’m wearing any (because it’s subtle and natural, no lime-green eyelids). So don’t schedule an 8am class if you take longer getting ready and aren’t a morning person.

I’m pretty lazy when it comes to makeup. There’s no way in Hell I would ever sacrifice sleep for make up. Besides, you don’t need to when you’re naturally amazing ;)

It never takes me more than five minutes to put make up and even then, it’s usually just eyeliner and lip gloss.

I know girls that do makeup and girls that don’t.

I have no problem with girls that don’t (know many attractive girls that don’t do makeup), but if I were a girl I’d go the extra effort.

What do you want, to have a nice boyfriend/ lover, or to say the hell with it and wind up living with some cats years down the road? Make-up won’t make or break this of course, but sadly our society judges women a lot on looks and if I were a woman I’d realize this joke of a game but go along with it to my advantage anyway.

Girls wake up early and put on makeup. Guys go to the gym and buff up. You don’t need to do either to land someone of the opposite (or same) gender. However, it doesn’t hurt.

I started the year straightening my hair and putting on makeup and matching my earrings to my outfit every day. Then I got lazy. For the lazy: a bit of mascara and some berry chapstick work just as well as an entire makeover, for class anyway.

I didn’t wear makeup for the everyday in highschool and i don’t plan to in college.

i only wear makeup for parties, dates, interviews, stuff like that.

in my experience it doesn’t hurt your ability to get guys at all. unless the guy cares if a girl wears makeup or not

Some people feel pretty enough without make up. Some people find friends and significant others who don’t care.

I hardly wear makeup (unless you count chapstick/lip balm, and the very occasional time when my girl friends convince me otherwise). Many people wear makeup because it makes them feel more confident…I guess I’m confident enough as is. I feel that I don’t need makeup to look nice, and if someone only likes me when I wear makeup - well, that person is just not worth knowing. Wearing makeup actually makes me feel more self-conscious… as I am not used to it…I think that I might accidently rub my eye and have it smear everywhere…etc.etc. As a whole, most girls do choose to put on some eye-liner or mascara in the morning, and might touch-up. But at my school girls are overall very laid-back and don’t cake it on (not counting sorority girls), and go for the au-natural look.

It takes me literally less than 3 minutes to take off day before’s make up, put in contacts, and do makeup, and I do it every morning, mostly because I have my makeup stuff right next to my contacts. Since I have to put in my contacts every morning, I just do some quick light eyeliner, mascara, a bit of brown eyeshadow, chapstick, and I’m good to go

of course girls wear makeup in college.

their vanity prevents them from not doing so, even if they have to get up at 5 am

most do. sometimes I’ll decide I prefer to sleep though… so I’ll skip the makeup for my morning class, but usually put it on later in the day when I have time.
