I would guess that everyone has a listing of three “enrollments” The first link is what shows my congratulations.

Salyourpal13 is not in the prospective student portal.

Go to: myau.american.edu

Salyourpal13 is not in the prospective student portal.

Go to: myau.american.edu

Yea I don’t think I got in. Mine doesn’t even work.

Totally worked. Though had to click on enrollment- graduate comm. once you click, it say congratulations (name) and options for enrollment and housing deposit. Thank you MCGCVI!!!

how can we get the au ID to sign up for an account on myau.american.edu

It will be in the bottom of any American u emails you got.

I can’t see the enrollment but somehow i worked my way around the portal and got to my financial aid package? I can see how much i got and i can choose to accept or reject it… does that mean im in?

Its the accept my reward tab under finances

So I know that a lot of you are able to log in, but I just called admissions and the lady said that for those of us unable to login, it doesn’t mean we are rejected. She didn’t give me any more information than that… But thought it was kind of reassuring that it wasn’t automatic rejection? :P

@Sethjwalker: Thank you for the info - it certainly is reassuring, although my inner cynic is telling me that the lady probably just said that because we probably weren’t supposed to find out about our respective decisions until we actually received a physical letter. Guess we’ll just have to find out for sure in a few days!

Hi everyone and congratulations to all those accepted today!
First of all thank you so much to the person that figured this out! I’m not sure I could have waited any longer. Does anyone know if there is a way to find out about acceptance to the Honors/University College program on the portal? Did anyone have that on their enrollment page?
Thanks for any info!

I set up my account, passwords and everything worked, but when I try to login it goes to one of those “Page Cannot Be Displayed” pictures.

Does this mean I’m rejected? I was able to set up an account, and my id and everything worked… what does this mean? Anyone else having the same problem?

EDIT: so I got it to work by clicking on the “use the old portal for a limited time only!” link, but I couldn’t find the enrollment agreement tab. hmmm. I don’t know what to make of this.

couldn’t figure out how to edit that post again… can you tell I’m new here? haha.

anyways, I logged out, logged back it, and found the enrollment agreement tab. ACCEPTED!!!

Has anyone experienced “The AU ID you have submitted (XXXXXXX) cannot be authenticated.” ??? It’s not recognizing my daughter’s AU ID which was at the bottom of the confirm major email.

Coralbrook, yes, a few of us have been having those problems. Sethjwalker called the admissions office and they said not to worry (although I’m a bit skeptical, haha).

Yes, I’m guessing that not recognizing AU ID is the kiss of death.

I’ll let you all know what comes in our mail, although we will be last because we are across the country.

Coralbrook, just be patient and don’t stress about it! I know it’s hard, but we don’t have another choice and there are a ton of people who I’m sure haven’t even seen this thread. It’s cliche, but good things really do come for those who wait. I live near Seattle so I am also stressed about waiting longer than everyone too. Don’t be pessimistic just yet because you may be surprised at the outcome x

Also, there are a lot of people that have been able to log on but not find their decision or enrollment agreement. Maybe because we live on the other side of the country they haven’t turned on the switch and enabled us to log on because they think we have no clue about it. Food for thought!

I was unable to log in earlier, with the same issue everyone else experienced but was able to now! I got in! Thank goodness, after a recent waitlist, my hopes were way down even though I have a decent amount of acceptances ( :

Congrats to you what state do you live in if you don’t mind me asking?

@sethjwalker I don’t mind at all! I’m from New Jersey
