Is AU your first choice? It’s actually my second - Ithaca is my first - but honestly I will be devastated if I don’t get in. I was so impressed with everything when I visited during the summer. I’ve already been accepted at Ithaca so of course it’s easy for me to envision myself being there. I haven’t really allowed myself to do that with AU, mainly because I think they’re more selective than Ithaca and I’m not sure how good my chances are.

Yep!! My first choice was Middlebury College and I applied ED2 but didn’t get in- it was a nice wake up call though because I want to go into foreign diplomacy and DC is really where I need to be. Plus since I did my program I already know the campus and am in love with the area. DC is my favorite city is the US~~ If I had to guess if our decisions will be on the portal it’s not going to be until the morning- probably 8AM EST.

Well I guess I’d better try to get some sleep. Good luck to you. Hopefully we’ll both receive some good news soon.

American is my #1 and I’m so nervous I could cry. If decisions are posted online today, would they be on the portal? My portal says nothing like that if I click “Application status” but will that change during the day if decisions are released? I know Columbia’s decisions come out online at 5pm today, and I’m really hoping I won’t have to wait until then for American, too. SOS!

In the past (no indicator of future behavior), notifications have been by snail mail. There were a few phone calls made, but not everyone got one. My D didn’t and she was accepted. Patience!!!

Has anyone heard anything from them? I applied from the UK and i wanna know how we’re getting notified, cos the application portal isn’t helpful.

Just got an email from them (international in china) and daughter was accepted. No merit money yet, but we are thrilled!

Congrats…now to wait for my response

Congrats! Have any of you checked the portal? Mine seems to have stayed the same.

Congrats, harvardmum!

Portal is the same for my girl too…maybe we got the email because we live in china? Not sure. I called the office today and no one would tell us a thing so it was a great surprise when the email came through. Good luck–

So I guess they don’t send all decisions at the same time? I have yet to receive an email…

They mail them all at the same time. It’s only fair to email internationals because mail can take up to a month to get to some countries…

Accepted!!! Not my first choice but i love washington I am from Bolivia still waiting for some financial support.

Has anyone in the US received an email?

I live in the US and haven’t received anything.

And camila13, what time did your email come in?

I don’t know if anybody has posted this already but during my interview they said they said that decisions will be mailed out March 21st (today). He also said that it will be exclusively through mail. No email, portal, etc.

Well Maybe they’re just emailing internationals today and everyone else has to wait for snail mail. Or Maybe the U.S. applicants emails will come out after the internationals. NYU seems to send theirs in batches (rejections 1st then acceptances) so who knows…
We’ll just have to see how the day progresses.

Accepted in Singapore. Email.
