Hi… we live in eastern PA. Despite the huge amounts of snow, my daughter did receive her large envelope from American today. She is beyond ecstatic… as am I, we love AU! My daughter applied to the business school. I’m not sure if letters were sent out in order of particular majors. I think probably not because we did watch the webinar last week on the different forms of acceptances and were told all decisions would be mailed out on Monday. My daughter never received an email saying “good news is coming”… so don’t panic if you didn’t receive that email!
Also, we did try to sign up for the MyAU portal without success. It may not work until everyone has a decision. We’ll try again next week.
I know the waiting is stressful! I truly believe this snowstorm has delayed some deliveries, but hang in there!! I am keeping my fingers crossed that you all hear some good news soon!
@americamom Congratulations! Is the AU ID on the admission letter the same as the one from before?
Thank you! Yes… the AU ID on the letter is the same as the one that was assigned to her after she applied to AU.
Despite the snowstorm here in NJ, received my acceptance today! School of Communication and AU Honors Program 
however, a friend close by has not yet received anything out. My guess is the weather.
I never received an email about good news either, so don’t fret.

For anybody that has gotten in would you mind posting your stats? This wait is killing me…
I’ve literally been checking this page every 15 minutes since Monday. AU has been my top choice since 8th grade (yes I have been obsessing over college that long!) and my second choice (BU) waitlisted me. This wait could not be any longer!!

I was just now able to set up a MyAU account - the site accepted the set up, gave me an account ID so I could log in. Once in the portal though I got a message on the Home screen that I was not configured to access the personal information - net can only access the general info for students/parents parts of the MyAU site. Clearly they have put a firewall in place to stop access to the financial aid etc… to stop last year’s experience. But I assume promising sign that the system let me set up a MyAU account.
I applied under the test-optional plan. Do you guys think I have a chance of being admitted?
it didn’t work when I tried to create an AU account… does that mean I didn’t get in???
