Debating whether or not I go to the post office to see if anything arrived after the mailman brought the mail (which was at 10 am)
Does not being able to create the myAU portal hint that I was probably rejected/waitlisted??? 
@skilletfan @oswidan A lot of people with high stats were waitlisted. I was too. I’m frustrated as well since I showed a lot of interest—I visited campus and went on the tour, completed an interview, and talked to their admissions representative that came to my school. I think it’s just the majors that were very competitive… I see a lot of people who are getting into Public Health Scholars (my friend did too, and congrats to y’all :D) but other than that there’s a lot of waitlisted people.

@amandahahaha no, it doesn’t. Most people weren’t able to get the portal working. In fact, earlier in this thread, someone who was accepted said that their portal didn’t work either.
Nothing arrived today in Missouri… hopefully I’ll hear something tomorrow

@cllg2022 I just tried logging into the portal but it says “myAU Portal - Missing Constituency. Sorry! Your account is not configured for accessing the myAU portal. Only current students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff may access the personalized areas of the portal.”

Was able to create an account at https://myau.american.edu/my.policy which we haven’t been able to do yet. Got the usual “record not found” message when we tried with SSN, but when we used the DOB, it worked! It’s in the acceptance packet to do this first thing…
Once logged in we did see the “Your account is not configured for accessing the myAU portal. Only current students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff may access the personalized areas of the portal. If you feel you received this message in error please contact the Help Desk.” message.

Still haven’t received anything and I’m from Columbus, OH. I was not able to make the AU student portal either. Waitlisted from BU and denied from BC. Just waiting on GW and AU so I’m pretty nervous. I keep checking informed shipping to see if anything has been added, even though I know probably it won’t be. Good luck to everyone who hasn’t received anything yet!
