3 short responses....1) significant experience, achievement, failure and how effected you 2) what course was most challenging and why. if you could do anything differently what would it be 3) reasons selecting Auburn and why will you be successful.

Daughter is slightly exhausted from finally completing her common app essay which is used for only two of her choices. Auburn being her first choice.....so back to the drawing board for her Auburn responses.

Our Admissions Advisor said 7- 10 sentences, but you are right, you are restricted by the number of characters.

Good Luck! Auburn was the only college daughter applied to and she was thrilled to get an early acceptance.

My son hit about 1500-1800 characters for the short answers.

Thanks for the confirmation. babs55 I sent you a PM but also…did you feel that the short response your daughter wrote was fabulous or just good and to the point?

Her responses were just good and to the point. I had to hold myself back from wanting to “rework” her answers. Glad I did since she was accepted without my help But she was admitted on the first early acceptance date which means they supposedly didn’t look at what she wrote. Make sure your daughter gets her application in while that early acceptance is still going on!

Fabulous information and reminder! Big sigh of relief over here now. She will get the short responses done but will assume they will not look at them since Early Decision they only look at GPA and Scores
