Any else you’d like to mention: I am a little nervous because my scores were low. Some people i know have been accepted but I am still waiting.

lupsidedub - I think that means your application will probably be evaluated with the regular decision round - as they say, a more holistic approach than the early round that only looks at numbers. The first notification for regular decision round is scheduled for November 15th.

anything else? like I said I’m a military brat, Air Force to be exact. I’m currently on my fourth high school and on my first overseas assignment in Japan. Auburn was my first choice and I’m so excited to be a part of the Tiger Family!

Any else you’d like to mention: I’m scared of being from a state that is so far away…I’m not really sure how many people from the midwest go to Auburn and hope that I will fit in.

@sara1331 Have you looked at the Auburn Class of 2019 page on facebook? There are a couple but only 1 of them has a large number of members. Join that and maybe you will find some more people from outside the southeast. Also, on Thursday 10/30 a housing roomsync app through facebook is supposed to be up and running. Housing said when you register for housing you’ll receive an email in your tigermail account that tells you about it. Hopefully you will also find a number of out-of-staters there!

Any else you’d like to mention: I’m freaking out that I won’t get in. My grades and test scores aren’t bad but that won’t stop me from freaking out. I also applied to NC State just so if I could get in-state tuition, I could go… but I really don’t want to go there. Auburn is already home and I can’t see myself anywhere else.

Sara1331 - I attended many years ago - I was a military brat and my Dad was stationed in Ohio. Even though Auburn was big, I was able to find and make friends with several kids from Ohio and we would drive home together on holidays. The native Ohio kids fit in at Auburn just fine.
