Auburn University 2024 EA admission and applications

We visited in April and did most of the activities they plan for War Eagle days. We registered for a campus tour and then he also registered to speak with someone in the department of his interest of major. We were able to do that when we clicked on the visit us and then there’s a place where you can also reach out to the specific department you are interested in visiting. He was able to meet with a student in the same major and someone from the department. I would say the only thing he did not do is see the inside of housing. They just toured the Village area where the dorms are, but did not give access. If Auburn is not difficult to get to from wherever you are, it is probably worth visiting and not waiting to find out if you have an invitation. I have no idea when those invitations go out and how much notice you would have. For us, the visit took significant planning because we are in the northeast, and had to fly to Atlanta, rent a car and then drive, so we were there for a few days.

We are visiting in October for the second time. He received an invitation to visit by a program called “very impressive tiger” Is anyone else going on this type of visit or does anyone know any more information about it?

Luckily we’re in metro Atlanta already but you’re right that there are other department meetings and tours that are available so it’s probably better to set all that up than wait for an invitation. Sometimes the open house type events are held on weekends and it’d save us from taking time off from work, but looks like the War Eagle Days are set for Monday or Friday this year.

My D24 applied for Auburn last week EA. Looks like all the war eagle days are after she finds out if she was accepted in October. I was wondering if you think the invites will go out before they send out acceptance/ denial letters? Has anyone already received these invites for the October dates?

Right! They wanted deposits (and room selection) before some schools even announced acceptances. For kids that Auburn is their #1, EA process is very quick (DS applied for 10/15 EA round last year and got notification on 11/9) and by all accounts the dorm “issue” isn’t an issue. Ultimately DS went elsewhere but we visited and seemed like a great school.

So my D24 received a text from Auburn late last night giving her the information to join a Auburn 2024 snap chat group to connect with other prospects. Wondering if everyone is invited to this that applies or how they do this. Seems if its sent to everyone then it could get a little crazy in the group. Also seems weird they would do this before being accepted because what if you dont get accepted and you have already made all the new friends. Wouldnt that make not getting accepted even harder for the students? Just random thoughts here. Wondering if this is a new thing and if anyone else was invited this snap group?

Oh good! So Its a real thing lol. I was a bit thrown off. Also, no clue if this is any indication into anything or not. My daughter has several friends that have applied and they weren’t all sent this text so we are trying to not read too much into it. But obviously, you have to wonder a little.

My D24 was not sent anything about an Auburn chat but my D23 who was accepted last year was never sent anything either (although I realize it could be new.) From being a part of last year’s thread, I feel Auburn is extremely strategic about a lot of these invitations. There are waves and certain geographic areas are concentrated on, it seems. No one should try to read anything into anything.

We received the invitation to War Eagle Day yesterday. Does this go out to everyone who applies EA? We have done an official tour already and I know decisions come a week or two before the first WED. Is this a good sign or just a mass invitation to all?

We have not received one but from everyone that I have talked with that is a GOOD sign for the weeks to come! Fingers crossed we see one show up in our mailbox soon!

We got our War Eagle days invite Tuesday. My S24 applied 9/5. We are OOS.

We just got the invite in the mail last night. We applied 9/1. OOS far away plus we already visited the campus last Spring so can’t go again unfortunately.

4.2 GPA
31 ACT

One thing that I have noticed is the ones getting the invites all seem to have test scores. Thinking that may have played a factor. We did not submit scores TO. Has anyone that was TO received an invite?

My son received his War Eagle Day invitation in the mail today. However, when we attempted to register online, we discovered that all three days are already fully booked. This has left him extremely disappointed.
