We submitted before 9/15 but there was an issue with one document which was resolved 9/27. Says awaiting decision. Given that some are hearing now, any guess when would the next round of communications be ?

Has anyone been able to do anything related to a housing deposit or has that not opened yet? S24 has been super busy and basically MIA b/c of football and I do not want him to miss anything. I thought we could at least do a deposit but maybe that has not opened yet? I am talking about the housing deposit ($100) NOT an enrollment deposit.
Housing Deposits have NOT opened up yet. However, you must go into AU Access and start your Housing Application. Incoming 2024 Students will receive a âTIMESTAMPâ or Earliest Appointment time for lack of a better term, sent to their Auburn Email address. That âTimestampâ determines when you will be able to enter the housing portal beginning Nov 8th at the earliest. Not everyone will get Nov 8th for entering the portal, the First Rounder Acceptances are most likely Yes.
On Nov 8th (Or your assigned portal entrance time) You enter the Housing Portal and Complete the required items including the Deposit at that time. Then another Timestamp is created once the deposit is paid, for dorm preference, roommate preference, etc.

We are at War Eagle Day on Friday, Oct 27th, if anybody else is and wants to say hi.
We fly in Thursday night and are staying in the Auburn Hotel. Love this place and itâs all run by students. We are flying out Friday night before the crazy game weekend begins.

I also forgot to mention regarding housing, which is that âHonors Collegeâ students get the first right of refusal for the Village Dorms. They are all Single 4/2 bathrooms. However, your Honors College acceptance MUST come before the Dorm Pick, roommate pick window opens. The Honors College âmainâ dorm is Aubie Hall and the Engineering Honors College dorm is Matthews Hall. It is no mistake that AU houses its athletes with honors college students. âIn-residence tutorsâ

I am not sure where you are getting this information from. Itâs possible they are changing things for next year, so if you could provide a source for this it would be helpful. The honors dorms have always been Matthews in the village and Broun Hall in the quad.
As far as dorms in the village, Aubie houses the engineering living learning community. You do not have to be in the honors college to live there, but do have to apply and be accepted into the engineering learning community.Matthews houses the honors engineering living learning community. Three of the village dorms are sorority housing and are all female.

S24 canât seem to do the Duo Factor authentication. He gets to the point of putting in his phone number and then it goes back to the login where he has to re-enter his birthday and Banner ID. It just gets stuck in this loop. Any ideas?
He was not able to do an initial housing sign up. That screen came up right awayâŠI told him to just check his Auburn email and make sure he knows when his time slot isâŠ

I was told by housing just to keep checking email. They will be assigned a time slot on or around 11/8 where they will then fill out the housing application and pay the deposit. Until their assigned time slot they canât access the application. Hope that made sense.

If you are asking about admission, my son got an email around 7pm on 10/13 that there was a status update to his portal. once he logged on he clicked âview statusâ and there was an acceptance there.

Same Here. Portal Update on Friday, Oct 13th at 711pm Eastern time. Acceptance Letter was loaded. 
Have Honors College acceptance been sent out already?
When is the deadline? Last year, the deadline for applications was Nov 18 and the acceptance emails were sent out Dec 15.

Qualified incoming freshmen will receive an invitation to apply to the Honors College after they have received their official acceptance to Auburn. Invitations are sent on a rolling timeline and are dependent on when a student applies and is accepted to Auburn. Invitations will be given to students who are accepted to Auburn by December 1, 2023.
This invitation is digital and will be sent to your Auburn email address as well as the personal email address listed on your application to Auburn. It will also include information about the Honors College, a link to the application, and the deadline for submission.
In order to be accepted, you must complete the application and submit it. The deadline to apply is January 5, 2024.
The Honors College will send notices of acceptance before March 1, 2024. Accepted students must acknowledge their spot by May 1, 2024 or their spot will be given to someone on our waitlist.
The deadlines are firm, and we will not accept any students after the final acceptance date.
For those who have asked about waves of announcements and the various deadlines⊠I have a high stats kid who applied around October 12 and already has an acceptance. Kid had missed it because there was an email that just said âyour portal has been updatedâ and since kid had already seen that the application was complete assumed that it was just changed to say âin processâ or something like that. When kid got something about applying to honors, we said to check the portal and thatâs when kid found the acceptance. We hadnât expected anything until sometime in November. Itâs fine for us, but itâs not the âapply on this date, announced on this dateâ that we were expecting.

Son got the Honors College invite to his Auburn email.
He will make a decision based on our visit and discussions on campus on Friday.
