Auburn University - Should I wait or apply now?

Hi! I am a senior. I have started applying to colleges already and was looking into Auburn University. I have a GPA of 4.13 weighted and 4.0 unweighted. My current ACT is 26 and writing score of 10 (June 2015) but I took the act this morning (Sept 2015) and now am waiting for the scores to come in, which I think will be in about 2-5 weeks. I was wondering if I should apply to Auburn now. I definitely want to apply early because I don’t want to have to write the essays and get the teachers recs. But do you think I should apply now or should I wait until I get my Sept 2015 ACT score? I am hoping to improve on the one I just took but I will just have to wait to see what my score actually came out to be. The only reason I am conflicted about applying to Auburn University right now is because I am not sure how competitive they are in their Early Action. And I am also pretty sure they are rolling so I have a better chance of getting in if I apply early then wait till the deadline (but only if my scores are competitive enough).

I am also already accepted in University of Alabama. Not really sure if there level of difficulty is similar but I thought I would let you know to give you another university to compare to.

Thank You!!

They have a 82% acceptance rate, their average ACT score is a 23. Your GPA is killer, and your ACT is better than their average. APPLY NOW!! Especially with rolling admission, you want to apply while they still have plenty of spots available.
Chance back?

The 2015 average incoming freshman ACT is 27.X, the low end of the 50% is 23, or was in 2014. You will likely get in, but if you don’t I think they would just hold your application until you provided another ACT score …if you really want to be on campus in your selected dorm, its important to start early.
