Deciding between these three schools…i want to major in animal science and become a veterinarian, any thoughts of what school is best or any pros/cons? I’d love any input, thanks!!
I live in Virginia and Tech is known for its great animal science program. I don’t know much about Auburn and Kentucky, but I know VT is really good in that area. Good luck in your decision!
I don’t think employers going to see any difference between these universities. I recommend going to the one you like best or the most affordable.
^ employers aren’t a concern. This student will be going to vet school…and vet schools won’t care which one.
@collegeq8642 tell us more… are you instate for any? Are your parents happy to pay whatever the costs are?
Edit…i see that you’’re OOS for all…
Quickly send an app to Miss State univ. Also has an excellent vet school and they’re very generous with merit. What are your stats? And what do you need your net costs to be?
It is very important that you don’t borrow for undergrad because vet school is EXPENSIVE and young vets do not earn a lot.
I think all are great schools. I would consider cost a factor especially since you are planning on going to vet school. The more you can save on your undergrad, the more you will have for vet school. What is your net cost for each?
Va Tech and Auburn both have great vet schools that are very difficult to be admitted to. You need excellent undergrad grades. Really very similar as far as undergrad environments/towns as well.
