AUC vs Jacobs University Bremen??

Hi. I want to know which of these universities is better in engineering and in their academics.
1- American University in Cairo
2- Jacobs University Bremen in Germany

I have been admitted at both, but I am confused about whether to go to Jacobs University in Germany or stay in my country Egypt. The AUC is the best university in the country, but as for the major that I want to study which is specifically robotics and intelligent mobile systems, I see that the curriculum of Jacobs is better than AUC.

I have to denote also that I got a full scholarship at the AUC. For Jacobs, I have a remaining amount of 6000 euros. But if it’s worth it, I will go there.

So any advice please??!!!

If AUC is the best university in Egypt, and you got a full ride, go there. Jacobs is not the best university in Germany… I would only go if you’re interested in discovering German culture, learning the German language, perhaps co-oping there. In addition, I’m guessing $6,000 is a lot for money in Egypt, can your family afford this amount?

My family can handle this amount, but for as what I want to study, I see Jacobs better. If I went to AUC I would major in Mechanical Engineering which is the closest thing to Robotics. But at Jacobs, the curriculum is what I want to specifically study. I can’t decide if It’s worth it or not.
