I have two scenarios. I passed Calc 1 and 2 about 12 yrs ago with A's. But It has gotten bit rusty now

My question is: Should I now Audit algebra/trig/precalc in college and then take calc 1 and calc 2 for credit in coming semesters.

Or simply just review the preliminary stuff myself (including Calc1 and Calc2) this summer

then Audit Calc 1 and 2 and later take them for credit.

Reason for Auditing Calc classes( not sure that my self review preparation will be enough to earn A ). I only NEED calc classes to transfer

Would SELF review be enough to brush up skills needed to get A in calc

I am not a math major. Please take time and cost into account as well.
Thank you for your help

bump------------please reply

What the hell are you even trying to ask?

to sp1212: What i asked was a simple clear question, but now i know rudeness seems to be the IN thing. MR/ MS KNOW IT ALL. here it is again

Would SELF review of precalculus be enough for me to brush up skills needed to get A in calculus

Once i am done with self review should i STILL AUDIT the calculus class(just in case) or go ahead and take it for credit

Is there some requirement to have taken the classes within the past ten years or something? If you have credit for them, why else would you need to retake them? If your at a CC, Audit them…I did an audit class for like $50 and was cool because I could participate in class and get my papers graded but of course it didn’t count…
