<p>I got a C in Calc 1, and I would like to audit for a better grade. I was told that I can't retake the class for a grade to improve my GPA. Does this mean that if I retake the course and get a B...or better, that the C would be used to calculate my transferring GPA?</p>
<p>If you audit, you don’t get a grade. That is what an audit is for - you go to class, take notes, think about the subject, but don’t do any homework or exams.</p>
<p>Make an appointment with the counseling/advising center at your college, and find out the details about their specific grade replacement or grade averaging policy.</p>
