Does anyone know if we can just sit-in in lectures? Or do we have to get the professor's permission to do so?

I've never audited a class before but I might do it for one class this summer during my free time.

If the class is large (over 40 people), the professor won't even know your existence...So you don't need to ask for professor's permission if the class is large.

The class has 41 ppl enrolled, and I sit in the back so hopefully I won't be noticed...

The thing is, 41 might be small enough that he'd recognize my face and remember it when I actually take the class in the fall or winter.

don't even worry about. so what if he recognizes your face (: sitting-in is a good thing. it shows that you're interested in the class and in the material.

i don't know many students who choose to sit-in, to tell you the truth. kudos to you!
