<p>The audition dates for 2011 - 2012 are now posted on the CCU website.
On Campus Auditions:

  • Saturday Nov. 12, 2011
  • Saturday Jan. 28, 2012
  • Saturday Feb. 25, 2012
  • Saturday March 3, 2012
    (Please note that audition slots fill quickly, particularly for the Feb. and March dates. Audition slots are limited.)
    Off Campus Auditions:
  • Nov. 17, 2011 - North Texas Drama Auditions
  • Nov. 18, 2011 - Dallas, TX
  • Nov. 19, 2011 - Dallas, TX
  • Feb. 6, 7 & 8, 2012 - Chicago, IL @ The Palmer House Hilton
    (Please note that auditions slots for the Chicago site fill quickly and are limited. Callbacks will also take place in Chicago in the evening of the same day you audition. We are making every attempt to have an accompanist at the auditions, but please bring recorded accompaniment.)</p>

<p>Thanks for posting the audition dates for CCU. Can you tell me if Coastal accepts some students along the way during their auditions (not for acceptance to the university, but the MT program) or do they wait until after they have seen everyone audition and then make decisions in March. Thanks!</p>

<p>Larkmom - Last year the November on campus audition date was an “early decision” date. This is how kjgc described it last year

<p>I don’t know if that will be the same this year but I am sure Ken will see this at some point and provide clarification as he always does.</p>

<p>Larkmom, we are talking about that at a retreat in the upcoming weeks. I imagine we will continue with a tradition of the November/December auditions being “early decision.” Those would work in the same way I described last year. After that, with so many auditions one on top of the other, I cannot imagine making offers along the way. We will likely wait until all auditions are completed to make our final invitations to the program.</p>
