I have heard, but do not know for sure, that several schools charge an audition fee. This is not the same as the application fee. It is rather a fee charged for actually being seen at an audition, whether on-campus or off. Could those of you who have personal and direct knowledge of any of these fees post them? I suggest the following format:

I think this would be quite helpful to everyone. Please don't post hearsay, but only information which you have directly (and preferably in writing) from the school itself.

Each school's website should have its audition fee posted. I've looked at 11 schools so far and here is what I have found in my review of the sites--I apologize in advance for any errors:

Elon--no fee
Emerson--$35
FSU--no fee
Ithaca--no fee
Otterbein--no fee
Penn State--no fee
Syracuse---no fee
UCF--no fee
U of Florida--no fee
U of Miami--$40
U of Michigan--no fee

Again, my disclaimer and apologies for any errors--remember to confirm all of this information with each school on its website and/or by calling its MT department
