Audition question

I’m auditioning for Penn State next weekend at the NY Unifieds. Does anyone know if an accompanist is provided at the off-campus auditions? I didn’t read anything about bringing taped accompaniment but I wanted to be sure. Also, the audition requirements say the songs have to be less than 90 seconds…is that combined or 90 seconds each? I have 32 bar cuts and 16 bar cuts but 45 seconds for each song seems shorter than those.

Hi TL: this is straight from my D who is a current sophomore in the program:

There will be an Accompianist provided. The 90 seconds is for BOTH SONGS COMBINED. Two songs at 45 seconds each, or however you want to split it up. Tell her to bring taped accompaniment as well if possible, it’s always good to have a back up! Tell her we all said to break a leg!!

An accompanist is provided for the dance portion as well as the singing/monologue portion of the audition. 90 seconds of music basically breaks down to a 32 bar cut and a 16 bar cut! They ask that everyone keep their songs to a minimum just so that they have more time to talk with you, etc!
Break a leg!!!
