Auditioning w/dislocated shoulder

Weird question...last night I dislocated my shoulder by doing nothing...and I was wondering (please excuse me if this sounds really stupid I have no idea what to think now...)

do you think the audition crew really care what you look like? Like, I Plan to emote with my songs, but with limited mobility and a sling...I Can't. Will that cause me major points?

I'mreally not kidding!

I don't think they will really care. They are listening to your voice - if they are watching anything, it's how you emote through your face. Yes, you shouldn't be stiff as a board, but you can't help dislocating your shoulder. It won't cause you major points. Don't worry about it. Focus on your singing and it will be fine.
I once went into the audition for All-State Chorus with a pulled muscle in my back, so when I walked in very slowly and carefully, they asked if I was okay. I told them I pulled a muscle and they asked if it would affect my singing and I said no. That was the end of that conversation lol At the end of the audition, the guy went over to the piano to test my sight reading and he hit his back on the piano. It then became a joke that he was going to end up like me.
Relax, don't take too many pain killers, and trust that your voice will be enough to win them over no matter what is wrong with your arm.
And HAVE FUN!

It may matter more for the MT part of the audition than the classical - as long as it doesn't affect your breath support. My D broke two bones in her back in a horseback riding accident in July. She took a sample lesson at a school just a few weeks after. She didn't mention her back and the teacher had her doing some Alexander technique type warmups and told her she seemed a bit stiff. The teacher felt terrible when my D finally told her she had two broken vertebrae. It did affect her breath support for a while. Just curious, but how do you dislocate your shoulder doing nothing?

Cartera45, I was actually talking to my friend at a college I am looking at, she's actually one of my best friends and she told me something you know, that made me happy about the college (can't even rememer-it was cursed haha,) and I was in the stretch position with your arms overhead and your shoulders get soft and it just popped all the way out and I then realized it was dislocated b/c I couldn't get it back in for 20 minutes :(. yikes! lol.
