Auditions for Spring 2011

<p>When will the auditions for Spring 2011 entrance be held? </p>

<p>Also, will a dance portion be mandatory, or is it optional?</p>

<p>I do not believe that Tisch offers any spring semester admissions or auditions. </p>

<p>If someone knows otherwise, please say so.</p>

<p>In this last cycle, dance was mandatory.</p>

Movement Evaluation
The day begins with a movement evaluation during which applicants will be taught two short combinations to assess their relationship to movement and their responsiveness to choreography. The movement evaluation is followed by individual artistic reviews which include a singing evaluation, an acting evaluation and an interview.

<p>I guess I’m pretty screwed with the dancing portion…I have zero dance experience…</p>

<p>Of course I’ve started taking basic lessons, but I don’t know how far I’ll get in 6 months time. Will not being a great dancer hurt my chances?</p>
