<p>Yes, they misunderstood. You have to apply to SU by the application deadline. But then after the auditions, the theater department recommends who they are interested in to the admissions office who then reviews those applicants for possible admission. In late March, your child will find out if she is accepted to SU and it is ONE process. If she is accepted, it is for the theater program (acting or MT).</p>

<p>Soozievt is indeed correct. One minor addition – some accepted BFA students have been notified by mid-March over the last 2 years. Others are notified at the end of the month.</p>
