Hi everyone. I took the SAT today at Liberty High School in Henderson, NV. After the reading section (65 minutes) and the ten minute break, the proctor was reading the instructions for the writing section. Then, a woman came into everyone’s rooms to announce that the scores will be cancelled as the air conditioning apparently stopped working ( btw iIt was 95 degrees this morning). What can I do now? When will it be rescheduled? It sucks because I was doing so well on the reading section. Will the rescheduled test be different than the one I just took? Thanks.
Yo that really sucks, something similar almost happened to me today, my ID had expired so I had to drive back home and get another form of ID at the last minute. I think if you send a report to collegeboard about the incident they will look into it, but I’m pretty sure that the next date you’ll be able to take it is the next scheduled SAT date at the moment. You might be able to have the registration fees waived though.
That stinks. I have some friends who took the test at Liberty when it was cancelled. Unfortunately, since you already took the reading section, it will probably be a different test. Hopefully Collegeboard can compensate it some way!
That stinks…it will be different.
I also was at Liberty HS when the test was cancelled, but I took an SAT Subject Test. Any ideas about whether the Subject Test Score will be invalidated?
Good news…I got an email from the College Board that they have one rescheduled for September 16th but its at a middle school 45 minutes away which sucks.
