August 5 Open House

<p>My son has been invited to an all day open house on Aug. 5 with sample classes, an essay writing workshop, tours, etc.</p>

<p>Has anybody done this? Do you think it is worthwhile? About how many attend? Do you get a chance to talk to admissions people apart from a big group?</p>

<p>My understanding of the program is that it’s some community outreach for the locals. It sounds like a wonderful opportunity for your son to get a taste of a liberal arts college, get some tips on admissions essays for college applications, etc.</p>
