<p>Hey CC folks!
I got to thinking that once August move in day rolls around, we will all be in Ithaca for at least some period of time. Just wondering if any of you might like to wear name tags with your “CC” names and find a gathering spot. There is plenty of time to think if this might (or not) work but I would love to meet you all!</p>
<p>LOL…I think it’s a great idea! But I think my D will be horrified if I walk around campus with a “Hello My Name Is Monkey13” sticker plastered to my chest.</p>
<p>Perhaps we could create a CC secret handshake, or all wear red carnations, or carry copies of “War and Peace.”</p>
<p>Maybe we should pick a meeting spot and a time…? Or, if lots of us are coming in the night before (August 24th), maybe we could meet for a drink! With the kids, so they can meet, too?</p>
<p>For sure we have to find a meeting place. “War and Peace” is too heavy for my suitcase!<br>

Meeting Saturday before is a great idea.
Sunday could be a little stressful with the move in.

<p>The Acting FB group isn’t Ithaca, it’s a lot of schools, and they are not MT oriented at all. Given that my son just switched from Acting to MT, I feel like I need to start catching up!</p>
<p>I just looked and can’t find any FB group for Ithaca that is for parents. I am not sure I am the most savvy as to how to do that, but a search using different names did not bring anything up. So, should we start one? Do you think it will be more useful than CC? I don’t want to add one more place to check for info if that complicates things. I could start the group as the “Ithaca College Theatre Parents” which could include everyone from any grade/alum/ program, etc. Thoughts?</p>

<p>Sorry for the confusion. Prodesse is correct…the straight theater group is for all colleges…just people who made friends through the process and want to stay in touch. If you all PM me your real names (or whatever your FB name is), I can start a closed group for Parents of Ithaca College MT Students, Class of 2017. Then I will send you all the link. Sound okay?</p>

<p>Whatever you guys want! I think at Ithaca, the acting and the MT kids are so intertwined, it may be wise to do one group. But I am open to suggestions!</p>
<p>Why not just BFA Ithaca? The students include all BFA’s and parents should do the same, in my opinion…</p>
