August program for college students

<p>So....my D got an internship at La Jolla Playhouse... which is great.
But she is done at the end of July and doesn't go back to school until mid September.</p>

<p>She is interested in a two week actors program that is not for h.s. students.... only college. (No offense, my dear h.s. friends, but once you are in a college program, you will probably understand this better.)</p>

<p>Any ideas of a program that may be offered in August?</p>

<p>We told her she could go anywhere within the states this year.... (BADA, RADA next year....)</p>

<p>Does it have to be a “college” program? If she has a place to stay in LA, I understand they have ten gazillion improv, on-camera, and commercial workshops going on all the time and some of them are supposed to be pretty good. When I have the time, my first class after graduation is going to be an improv intensive at Upright Citizen’s Brigade in New York. They’re in LA, too, as are Second City and The Groundlings. It’s worth looking into if UCLA allows it.</p>
