I just read an interview with an AU official. He said they are still working on building new residence halls on top of the existing parking lot on the south side of campus. However, they have to go through a difficult process to gain city approval to build mid-rise buildings because of neighborhood groups.

They also are planning on tearing down most of the buildings on the Tenleytown campus (which used to be a private high school), and use the land to build a new law school. They say the current law school is too small, even though it is only 15 years old.

He said they plan to keep undergrad enrollment level, but plan to add another 1,000 students total in law school and grad school.
