Aussie wondering what is posted/submitted online/etc

Okay, so my current priority is Stanford (SCEA).

I know that I need to do the common app and stanford supplement.

Common app = online.

Stanford supplement

$90 fee (can I pay by credit card online?) how do i pay?

Teacher rec letters - is this part of the common app or is it stanford specific? Online or mailed?

School report(transcript) + International supplement = has to be mailed in? What years? Years 7-12? 9-12?

School report form? What is this? Is this the thing from the common app?

With all the mailing labels - can I put/get my school to put all the stuff in one envelope? Or does it all have to be separate?

2) It is part of the common app. In school forms section, you type in names and emails of your teachers and they get an email to make a teacher account. They can either mail or submit online(which is IMHO better).

3) I don’t think you need to mail-in international supplemental, you should be able to submit online. Same goes for transcripts. Its only for high school / secondary school years: 9-12.

4) School Report should also be on Common App. The point of Common App is that you don’t go to college’s website to get a form.

5) If they decide to mail, they should be able to put it all in just one envelope. But make sure the forms are organized in a nice way and don’t get mixed up. But online is easier, faster.

Keep your money :)

thanks for the helpful response :)

and thanks for saying that too - i had something I wanted to get on ebay that I was holding out on as I wouldn’t have the money to pay someone for this!

Could you confirm this:

THings I need to mail to stanford

 • nothing???

Things I need to submit online

 • payment
 • common app
 • stanford supp (incl teacher letters)
 • international supp & transcript?

And lastly - I know that some people can have a gpa of above 4.0 due to weighting.
My school doesn’t calculate GPA specifically, but unweighted GPA would be 4.0. I have taken advanced placement courses (not collegeboard AP) though, so should I be reporting it as a 4.0 unweighted or weighted something else?

Thanks so much :)
