Aussies Unite!

@theGame. well i guess you were the luckier ones lol. ive just heard of a lot of stories where students did ED and realised they got crappy aid but they cant’ compare with other options and pick and choose like you can in regular decision. i didn’t do any early decisions (mostly because I havnet had anything done by november)

@ beeish - back in aus yet?? :)

Guessing you guys don’t have school today? I just had, like, the worst day in the history of bad days >:(

Sorry, have to rant: I woke up thinking it was the first day of Term Two so I got all dressed up, nearly strangled myself with my tie and, like, fell out of bed in the morning (ouch) but managed to get out on time. I was all proud of myself for being early and whatnot until I realized I’d forgotten my assignment and lunch at home so turned right around, went back then came back still fairly early…reached the stop and realized that NO ONE was there. Just to have something to do, I checked my diary only to see: Term 2 commences 30th of April. Felt like an idiot, didn’t have any credit on my phone, had given off my set of house keys to my little brother and was locked out of the house so I walked to the police station and asked to use their phone (they wanted to know why I wasn’t in school) to call my mom and explain what happened. She said she’d come soon so I walked all the way home, jumped my own splintered fence and cut bloody gashes into my hands in the process (double ouch) waited 45 minutes then decided to get something to drink. Went to the petrol station, walked back (again) only to see my mom waiting for me at home (and non too pleased that I didn’t know when school started).

sigh My legs are beyond pain and are just plain numb now from all the walking (my house is two suburbs away from the bus stop) and my school bag feels like its filled with rocks. No, boulders. Yeah - boulders. And lead.

Am gonna crawl to bed now. And if you actually read all that (^^) then I applaud you! lol.

actually liked what he read

That had make a fine essay intro, I reckon!! Cheer upp :)

@dragons: That is why I said apply ED to a place that meets your FULL DEMONSTRATED NEED, not merely a part of it. If anyone does that, I can give you my word he/she will find himself/herself in a similar situation to mine. Not sure about the cap tho ;)

@dragons… NOPE in Hong Kong… back on Monday :slight_smile:

uh and carpe-diem I never have school x) okay so maybe I won’t be smiling come august when I actually do, but enjoying being a lazy ass graduate at the moment

@izzy: you need to buckle up a lot more SATs if you ask me

@dragons: Agreed!! :D

@Game: what do u mean?

@Huanbing.izzy: Woah did you do 3 subject tests in one sitting? WOAH! I did my first subject test today and I was exhausted after even though I only did the SAT Maths II… haha :(

@Aininor: no, I didi two.I didn’t know what to do for the third subject…- -||

well no need to do extra SATs if the scores are good enuf.
i only did 2 SAT I, one SAT II with two tests
i did maths II and literature for sat 2 in one sitting. got pretty bored at maths and gave up on literature. maths 2 has mad curves though. i left out 3 questions and still got 800
