<p>At this stage, I’m not sure. I’m still looking at universities. Ideally I’d like to go to university in NYC or California though, so that narrows it down a bit. I’m also going to apply to some Australian unis and UC. What about you?</p>
<p>What part of the education system? Just our subjects or the whole excellence merit thing? I understand how NCEA would be confusing, I can’t help but think that it puts us at a disadvantadge when applying for overseas colleges :S</p>

<p>umm im applying to a few - no ivys and stuff cuz i didnt really study for sat and it conflicted with trials and stuff (oct) so i didnt get really good marks
and also english isn’t my first language so my CR and writing were pretty bad</p>
<p>but in order of preference - tufts, clark, george washington, american, u. richmond, northeastern, fordham, canisius (safety)
I want to hopefully do international relations over there

<p>your applying to like double the schools I am haha… I’m applying to two westcoast so cal schools - have a guess lol - and two ivies… I dont know if my scores/stats are good enough for ivies but thought i’d give it a go, US citizen so i qualify for their need blind admissions. </p>

<p>are any of you guys applying to melbourne uni as a safety? they completely redid their course structure to be like a us college and are building up their residential system and everything.</p>
<p>and the residential colleges are so beautiful… at least on the outside lol.</p>

<p>beeish: since im in QLD i got an interview scheduled for january, but if i get into UQ, i probably won’t bother moving down to NSW.</p>
<p>there were a couple kids from brisbane at my interview, it was kinda funny though cause they were like “do you know blah blah” to each other and then they were like “we aren’t giving you a really good impression of brisbane are we?” I guess you had to be there :S</p>
