<p>My school sent a photocopy of all my school reports since 8th grade.</p>
<p>Also they sent letters explaining the school from the headmaster and the careers counsellor.</p>
<p>btw beeish: how did you go on the UMAT? i guess it must have been sufficiently high enough to get an interview at unsw.</p>

UTS (journalism and international studies and fashion) uni. of syd (media and communications) and Uni of New. (communication)</p>
<p>Im just wondering. are you guys so wanting to go overseas that you would go to a inferior school overseas?</p>
<p>just so you know, i wouldnt worry about SATs too much. I should take mine again but cant be bothered. I may have said this before but i know someone that failed their SAT’s (like got a 700 on the old SAT) and got into Harvard because they were aussie.</p>
<p>well what are your academic records comprised of? my reports are only on page each so that was only 8 pages… I know some peoples reports are hella long though. </p>
<p>I wanted to take my SATs again but got told it would look to perfectionistic… so not too</p>
<p>I dont think I would settle for a inferior uni anywhere… so if I didn’t get into a US uni and got in UNSW Med I would totally go, who wouldn’t?

<p>oh mine was only 2 pages, then i sent off some explanation of my scoring for year 11 and 12.</p>
<p>I kinda mean im not gonna go to i dont know, say university of missouri, when i could go to university of sydney (which is a better school). so what im saying is, im not paying heaps of money to go overseas when i have a good universiy over here. the university i go to would have to be better.</p>
<p>for me, its work (in fashion). so NYC. Ive always wanted to live in NYC, plus the lifestyle for college over there is appealing. plus all the work and experience ille get. (plus i love columbia)…</p>

<p>beeish - i got 2080 but got 119/120 for toefl which shows that I can speak/use english but I just haven’t studied SATs enough… I’ll be doing SAT II on dec!</p>
<p>I want to do international relations so i stuck to the east coast unis - and no i don’t have safeties in australia</p>
<p>I wanted to go US because I’ve lived (born as well) in korea for 10 years, in Australia for last 7, so i felt like it was time to move on to somewhere else, experience somthing new? lol</p>
<p>oh yes for hsc i did - advanced english, geography, french continuers, 4unit maths, 3 unit maths, studies of religion and i dropped chem half way through year 12 </p>
<p>about transcripts - i’m sending year 9-12 where each year is summarised back to front except for the last year 12 report - i’m sending that as a whole so they know what its supposed to be structured like and shows what some terms mean etc. </p>
<p>and i think i’m going to send my HSC results as my final report. </p>

<p>thats pretty good… why did you do the TOEFL? I thought you only had to do that if you came from a non-english speaking country :S
so st.g.i.dragons, where are you applying? Just the ivies? or other schools too? Isn’t Georgetown pretty good for international relations?? and why no west coast schools, some have pretty decent IR programs?</p>

<p>umm some unis require toefl if english is not my first langague and for me korean is my first langauge (although english is almost becoming my first langauge anyway) and after my bad scores in english (out of 2080 my superscore is 650/800/630) i thought it couldnt hurt to do another english exam :)</p>
<p>umm i listed my unis before and well i just like the east coast - the idea of working/studying in big cities like NY, Boston or Washington DC</p>
<p>and yes i got raped in french lol that was my worst subject. i spent wayy to much time in comprehension sections which i always finish in 30 min, i finished in 1 hr… - everything else i should get band 6, except french :'(</p>

<p>It’s amazing. However I’ve caught a cold right after the exams and am having a headache. Probs was too stressed during exam time loll</p>
<p>I was so scared that would happen, cause I always get dead sick right after exams… all that stress lol but I took vitamin C tablets everyday during exams so I avoided it! woot!</p>
