<p>Hi, I am currently studying in Australia and will be completing high school in like 2 weeks after exams. My school doesn't really have a specialized counselor who can help me on filling those common app form, but they do have a career counselor so I came to her anyway. I've put her email in common-app as my counselor and she has opened an account on it, but she had no idea how to fill in those form as we don't normally use GDP in Australia below tertiary level, so she advised me to go to my year coordinator and ask for her help. I will contact her after I finish my high-school leaving certificate exam, but just in case if she also has no clue on filling those form (Considering the fact that common app forms are complicated and need to have a teacher evaluation or sth like that, but she's not my academic teacher). Does anyone from Australia had experiences or idea on filling those school reports on common app? Please it's urgent to me! Your help would be greatly appreciated ! Thank you in advance x</p>
<p>You need to also enter your year Teacher as a recommender.</p>
<p>The scale needs to be explained, with what percentage get in on national exams in your school and nationally receive what grade (so that, if 86=A, and 30% in your school get that for national exams but 20% nationally, then it means your school is very rigorous and a 90 would be an excellent grade- whereas in the US, it’s a grade for students below the top 30-40% in a class.)</p>
<p>Hi, I’ve actually invited two of my academic teachers to be my recommenders already, and one of my teacher has completed the recommendation form so it doesn’t bother me much. What I am worrying about is the school form thingy though… We don’t calculate GPA at high school level…
Also, I am still doing my national exam at the moment and it will be finished soon, but we won’t get the result until the end of December, all I got now are the school reports. common app totally freaks me out, the only part in the app I left undone is the school reports I reckon ! urgh…

<li>I re-read what I’d written and it wasn’t very clear - For the record I meant that in the US 86 = B and in high school it’s typically a grade for students in the top 50% but not top 30%. A 90 is a very good grade, especially in college. Hope it wasn’t confusing.</li>

<p>You need to write your predicted results and your counselor/head teacher/principal will have to send the final results in the mid year report.</p>
