<p>This is pretty dead-on, except they’re missing ‘bucolic’ which I kept seeing when I was retaking my SAT.</p>
<p>A lot of these words are designed for you to test the strength of a) comprehending an unknown word within the context of a sentence b) the deduction of Latin root words.</p>
<p>Don’t be terrified of them, a lot of the words are actually pretty interesting, this is what I would do:</p>
<p>a) read the definition
b) wiki it to find an interesting related article, so you can find a relevant example that you can always tie your mind back to the word in question, and so you can remember it for life!</p>
<p>I actually used this list for my SAT in June and it was extremely helpful. Only thing is, I just have a really good memory and was able to memorize the words easily in a short amount of time. Nonetheless, the list is still an important tool to success on the CR section in my opinion since I got an 800 on CR using the list.</p>
<p>Many of these words appear in the Direct Hit’s series. I’ll definitely memorize this once I’m done with DH. Surprisingly, I started memorizing DH 2 days ago and I’m already 200 words in. I thought it’d be much more difficult.</p>
