Auto-Admit Acceptance Letter?

I've been accepted to UT because I'm an auto-admit. I found out mid-November, but I haven't gotten anything from the school in the mail at all. Has anyone who has been accepted received their acceptance letter in the mail yet? Or have none been sent out? I'm trying to be patient but I'm so eager lol. Thanks!

never expect auto-admit letter. Trust the UT status web for auto-admit.

I guess I should clarify that I have already been accepted and “accepted” my admission, I just never received a letter! Will I get one or is the status online it?

That’s what I meant. My D was already auto-admitted as shown in status web in October but never received a letter for auto-admit even though UT called her to invite some events and snet a plan II acceptance letter in late November.

Ohhh okay. Thank you!

They send letters (usually 2) when you are admitted to your college/major.

You are literally automatically accepted as soon as your transcript is processed, and myStatus is updated soon after that.

You will get letters about your acceptance once the individual schools/colleges go through your application and you are accepted into a major. However, the letters will come about two weeks after your myStatus page is updated, so check that frequently!

Welcome to the best University in the World!

HOOK EM!
