I’m in the same boat, except I applied for mathematics as my second choice and that’s where I’ve ended up. I’m not entirely sure if it makes a difference if I declare undeclared instead of staying as a mathematics entry, but I’ll be trying to transfer into CS.
Have you decided whether you’ll be attending UT afterall?
@realstruggles Hi! I’m so sorry that you were not able to get into CS either
I actually would have selected mathematics if that had been an option on the list of majors available to me - so I believe you should be fine staying as a mathematics entry (and you can do an internal school transfer since you’ll already be in the College of Natural Sciences). I chose Undeclared because that was the next best option to Math.
And yes, I have decided to attend UT under the School of Undergraduate Studies! Maybe we’ll run into each other on campus
Good luck and I hope you can transfer into CS!
@GigiMayf no word yet :(. Because he wants business he is now heavily leaning toward A&M. We were hoping to hear back by May 1 but starting to think it may not happen. He is signed up at UT as UGS but not excited about it. Has housing contract and is registered for orientation, etc. but we will cancel all that before May 1.
@spanishmzp what did you decide to do? Are you staying UGS?
Best of luck to everyone!
