Autoadmit (Auto admit) as a filtered word

I posted a reply and used the first word in the title above and it displayed with asterisks. Why?

That’s because the word has been added to the censored list. Can you s p e l l the word so we can identify it?

I meant why is it censored? The word is in the title in parentheses, without a space.

Not sure, but I’ve removed it from the list.

Could you edit the post above? This is viewable by the public and you’ve used my name. @CCadmin_Sorin

Done! Sorry for that, @skieurope.

Thank you.

Autoadmit was on the censored list. I just have to ask…why?

I googled autoadmit.com. The description shown on the home page is: “The most prestigious law school discussion board in the world.” So I imagine a spammer was linking to this site, and that’s a violation of the TOS. A moderator must have asked for “autoadmit” to be filtered.

Looks like a member used AutoAdmit.com as part of a promotional signature in his posts back in 2008, which likely led to it being added to the censor list. However, there are dozens of legitimate uses of “autoadmit” in discussions, so makes sense to have uncensored it. Thanks, Sorin!

Thanks for the context, Lenitus!
